Week 4 of pregnancy (First Trimester)
You:
Your pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period. By the time the sperm meets the egg you will already be counted as 2 weeks pregnant, so by the time your pregnancy test shows up as positive you could already be into you fifth or sixth week of pregnancy.
Your Baby:
You are now 4 weeks pregnant. There is now an embryo inside your uterus, which is a little ball of dividing cells about the size of an apple. Between the third and eighth week the babies organs such as intestines, heart and lungs will be beginning to develop.
